Delivery

We personally drive to deliver our puppies. Delivery is recommended and is cost effective for anyone located on the east coast/not too far from North Carolina. We charge $1.25 per mile plus tolls if applicable. We will discuss with you a date/time and an estimated time of arrival. ETA’s will not always be exact but we will do our best to deliver the puppy at a reasonable time and be in contact with you along the way. Puppies are usually delivered same day or next day but you must be flexible and allow extra time for stops, clean ups, sleep, traffic, weather etc. The average cost of delivery is $100-$750+ depending on your location. Your delivery fee is due upon delivery of the puppy. If you need a quote, feel free to reach out to us.

If we have multiple litters at the same time that are close in age, the delivery date must accommodate all puppies. For example; the puppies born first may have to be delivered at 9-10 weeks of age to allow the younger puppies be at least 8 weeks of age so we can take them all on the same trip.

Flying with a Flight Nanny

Flying is recommended and is most cost effective for anyone located in the middle US and on the west coast. We work with a flight nanny who will fly with the puppy to you. We will discuss with you a date/time and your airport of choice, and make flight arrangements to best accommodate you. The weight of the puppy + the carrier the puppy must travel in may not exceed 20 lbs. therefor it is important for the puppy to fly between 8-9 weeks of age. Usually puppies are delivered same day or next day but you must be flexible as flight times can change, be weather permitting or get canceled. Our closest airport is Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia. We will require $60 for transporting the puppy to/from the airport since it is a 3 hour round trip for us. The average cost for a flight nanny is $650-$750+ but can vary. Some Flight nannies require payment before flight, some require payment upon receipt of the puppy. We really prefer this method of delivery, it is well worth it for our far families. You will have the peace of mind the puppy is not flying alone and will arrive quickly. Please offer food and water upon receiving your puppy.

You can cut out the price of the flight nanny completely if you fly here to pick up the puppy yourself. Most airlines offer an ‘in cabin’ flat fee if you are hand carrying your pet. Puppies are required to be in an airline approved, soft sided carrier (see below) that will fit under the seat in front of you. The maximum allowable size is usually 23″ L x 13″ W x 9″ H. The puppy will count as one carry-on or personal item. The airport we use is Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia. We can bring the puppy to the airport to meet you but we will require $60 for transporting the puppy to/from the airport since it is a 3 hour round trip for us.
